Upgrade Order: Paint, Roller, or Expansion?

A simple rule for choosing the next purchase: buy the shortest payback, not the loudest upgrade.

Paint, roller, and keyboard expansion upgrades all increase income differently. Paint changes the multiplier, roller speed increases keys per minute, and expansion increases the board value the planner models as cash per key. Because each upgrade has a cost, the clean decision rule is payback time.
